PCs
There are a large number of things to consider when purchasing a computer that will be used as a display appliance. It's ideal to get one that's intended more for use as a business workstation because it tends not to be pre-loaded with a lot of third party software and software intended as advertisements from the manufacturer. These machine can be cheaper but this software can slow your machine down and be a pain to remove. The size of the PC is something to consider as well. Smaller form factor PCs are great for concealing near your display. For further points of consideration, please click here
Cables
For more information on video cables click here. Make sure both your display and display appliance will accept the cable you'd like to use (i.e. avoid HDMI cables if your TV doesn't have an HDMI port).
Mounts
Each wall mount is designed to hold a TV of a specific weight and dimension. The specifications for each wall mount will list the minimum and maximum screen size. It's important to get one that is made for your TV's screen size and weight to prevent your TV from falling off the wall.
